I agree with @jay Paskero! Totally true what is said. This has been my experience as well, they don't even seem like they want to be there... listen it's a job, there are more out there. Maybe go do something that doesn't involve to be around people, because obviously they are not capable owning their own feelings.
TL;DR - be kind to the baristas and they'll bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your experience
I came in the other night and got a vanilla latte and honestly it was amazing! Normally when I get them at other places the shots taste burned. The barista Asia was very sweet and bubbly and held a conversation with me while giving me my drink and seemed very genuine! The other barista Bradford was also a sweetheart! They make an amazing team. 10/10 would recommend!
This Starbucks is in a grocery store and when we ordered a coffee with coconut milk the said they were out and that they discontinued the drink although Starbucks just started offering it. Second when we received our other drink that requires whip cream there was non, once again they said they were out, once again they are in a grocery store that sells whip cream and coconut milk. When I asked since the drink was without whip cream was it less expensive she said no that the whip cream was free. Both drinks were at least 3 inches from the top of the cups so obviously not full and obviously not what we paid for. To top it off and for lack of words the young lady that was working was a complete smart ass. Very Very disappointed. BTW I'm 57 years old and this is my very 1st review that I have ever wrote. I just felt compelled to do so. Will it make a difference? Probably not but I thought about this all night and had to at least share my experience with others that may go here and attempt to get something they want and end up with something that they wanted to give you.
You'll either love or hate it (as you can see by all the 5 and 1 star ratings). The kiosk is not owned by the corporation so your barista is likely making minimum wage for providing a service considered a luxury to the average working customer. They're also not a part of the grocery store, so don't be too surprised if they run out of something that's just a few aisles away.
Also, the manager is one of the coolest people I've met, and she will always make sure you love the drink you ordered!
The chip reader works (the only one in Price Chopper that does) and while their system can give you points for using your Starbucks card, it can't redeem free rewards.
The Starbucks inside Price Chopper knows how to make a drink properly, and the baristas are always super nice!
I suggest they work in the price chopper but stocking shelves in the back with minimal human interaction.
Jay has inspired me to write this. Me and my family travel and have been to so many stores that have a starbucks in it. This is the first store that my family and I have been to where they just don't give a s***, rude, inconsiderate to others and straight up snotty.
