Its a beautifull place that is fun for all ages, from todlers to grandpas. I go every year with my family to the old iron works days were they have tones of family friendly activities from makeing your own rope to buying flavoried honey. Its a beautiful place.
Where I told my wife I was willing to drive 500 miles to see her if she would allow me too.
Nice park. The campground was almost empty in October. we had a nice secluded stay.

Regarding fishing, this is a horrible creek to fish. The water is clear, it has rapids and pools, but contains no fish. I recommend Roubidoux springs.
