Great park. The walkway around the lake is serene and nice size. My main complaint is that pets have to be separated in field away from the park in the pet area. This is part of the experience of having a park - somewhere to walk your dog etc.
Overall I think the space and location of this park is great and each year the park hosts the carnival, July 4th and other events that are great turnouts.
Clean, beautiful park with a walking trail around a beautiful wooded ponds. There are multiple play sets for all ages of children with shelters and grills at each. The porter potties are regularly serviced and always in good working order. The old baseball field and grassy areas are great places to throw or kick a ball around. The covered bridge and island are fun places to watch the wildlife or fish. This is my favorite park around.
The only negatives are pet privileges (which for me is a big part of a park experience) and the other is a negative on parenting skills (lack thereof) and not so much of a park related issue.
Wonderful park! Well equipped with great playground areas, picnic shelters, and accessible fishing dock. One of the best parks I've ever seen.

In the past of had an issue with the kids tormenting a family of geese but didn't see this happen this season (might be because I frequent the park less). This is directly caused by the lack of parental guidance. The park personnel did little to rectify this issue either. I think someone else found this appalling and fixed the problem themselves by putting caution tape on the bridge leading to the momma goose and her young. The park personnel said that they had nothing to do with it when I called to thank them for keeping people (tormenting kids) away from the goose family.
The Christmas lights were beautiful, very well done. My granddaughter (3 yrs. Old) loved them!
