They always get angry when I use a card even though they charge extra. The one time I bought a frozen rat it had a huge gash in its side that I noticed when I thawed it. I noticed because half of it's guts fell out. Gross.

Best small town pet shop ever.
First of all, time to educate the 3 or so haters on here. Specialty shops may charge a bit more, but then again they have more knowledge the if you go to pet smart or other chains. Specialty shops actually know how to care for fish, big chains do not. I have done business with the owner for years and she has always been fair with me. For the cleaning complaint, I imagine you expected it to look like a multi-million dollar building with new floors, etc. Every time I have been there it has been clean. Remember, it is an older building, and they have other pets. I have never seen filth or dirt about. Finally, to the one that wrote the dissertation, I have no idea what you truly experienced, but I imagine that person is gone as the owner reads these reviews. Why didn't you talk to the owner if you were that mad lol?
