Prices are high for a salvage grocery store. I have been to many others that charge half of their prices. It is a clean store for the most part and had lots of room. If you wanted food at a slight discount, it is worth checking it out
We've found some real bargains that help cut our grocery costs. The two things to watch for are outdated items and packages damaged enough to expose the food. It doesn't happen often, but can if you aren't careful.
Everything is either partially opened or it has been opened and items taken out. New to me.
I go to I-44 surplus for the $1.00 Pepperidge Farms bread- whole wheat, oatmeal, cinnamon raisin, potato, white bread. Hamburger and hot dog buns. It's all good. Their Baron spices is also something I return to purchase
