3. They sell shark meat. They sell vulnerable species that are in serious decline in population as meat. Some of the sea food is from sustainable sources but a lot of it comes from countries known to overfish and to destroy habitats. As long as they sell shark meat I won't go back.
2. The hot food area is horrible. Some of the food is OK such as the burgers. But the wings sit out too long, get dry, and taste like you're biting into salt bricks. Most of the hot food tastes old, overdone, and too salty. Salad bar is nice though.
Nice place lots of variety there meat has been top of the line for are family. There prices are little higher than I have found at Wal-mart but there quality on their fresh items are worth it. If you get the chance try the crab legs A+.
Prices here are very low, and the variety is exceptional. Everything was clean and orderly, despite the holiday rush. I was very impressed.
The reason for the low rating however is for three reasons.
1. The prices are way too high. The price for eggs is 2x or sometimes even 4x higher than other places in town. Dairy and produce are usually the worst culprits.
This is my favorite grocery store in a 60 plus- mile radius by far. I love the fresh seafood and California rolls. The different meats and selections are wonderful and the bakery is great as well. If you feel like eating inside of the store & not cooking, they make wonderful stuff on the grill and much more. The next best store for groceries I would say is in Jefferson City about an hour drive. It's nice to have a decent grocery store that is local. They keep it clean and organized and you also have the floral department which has absolutely amazing Arrangements along with wonderful gifts & ideas!!
Great food displays but definitely pricier than Wal-Mart so I don't shop there much.
The products are good. In some cases they have great variety such as international foods, produce, and grains. They have a nice fresh meat case. In other things, they have very limited options and often not what I want. No boneless chicken thighs, large packages of chicken, or some of the yogurt I like.
