Worst moving experience ever!!!! Missouri residents, don't let Duncan steal your money. He will start by charging you 120$ for "expenses" which is supposed to mean gas and whatnot, that is a lie. He will make you sign a document that says he is not responsible if he breaks anything, WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ken Duncan called me to tell me he was going to be late by one hour, no compensation offered for wasting my time. The movers were grossly uncareful with my property which they threw in the back of a rented UHAL van.I told them to be careful with my bed frame, they scratched it by throwing it in the van and broke several other items. When confronted, Ken called my attention to the agreement in which he is only responsible to replace 60cents per pound. He refused to compensate for breaking my stuff and then stopped returning my calls and emails. Don't be the next victim, do not use Duncan Movers.
My mom moved from Missouri to Colorado in April. Duncan Moving did a great job and we were very pleased with their service. They packed everything well and were careful. We didn't find anything broken when we unpacked boxes. We recommend them highly.
We hired Duncan Moving to unload a 26 ft U-Haul for our move. They arrived promptly and began unloading the truck. The two gentlemen unloading the truck were always polite and well-mannered. Mike Duncan is awesome and so is his crew. Painless 500 mile move. All goods arrived in perfect condition. Very reasonable and fair rates. Very easy to work with and Mike kept in touch until everything arrived at our door.
I found North American as a company great to work with, the actual guys that picked up and delivered the contents of my house were excellent. The local Rolla Mo. outfit, I was not impressed with. I often played phone tag, as the only person who could answer questions is Ken Duncan, no one else in the office is able any questions. At times it took 2 to 3 days of playing phone tag in order to receive an answer. If the company was more adapt to using email, this might have improved the process. Several boxes the Duncan packers packed where over packed and considering these were kitchen boxes, I ended up with several broken items. In filing a insurance claim, Ken Duncan lied to North American Claims when I came to covering a few of my items. He stated the customer didn't want certain items packed to save money. It was never captured in any written documents and even though I provided this information to North American Claims, they sided with Ken Ducan's statement.
