Went to steak n shake tonight with my family to eat and have shakes. We get there a little before 5 and give our shake order to the waitor, he says no problem and goes and puts in our shake order he comes back to table and says I'm sorry it turned 5 before I got all shakes in so it's gonna charge you full price. I tell him to cancel order and ask if we can speak to supervisor. Brittany the supervisor came to table and I explained her answer was well he doesn't know we do not offer the half price shakes on weekends... isn't their wait staff suppose to be trained clearly she was making excuses why she wouldn't honor the happy hour l. I will not be back to steak n shake rolla. ..
Good location, good service, good food. It's fast food for sure, but one is waited on at the table, and it's high-end fast food. Prices are comparable to bigger chain joints offering far less service. My family finds Steak 'n Shake a good value.

It is one of the absolute best places to grab a burger and old fashioned shake, the employees are always nice and the restaurant is always clean. They have a good choice of values meals to fit every budget. Did I mention the shakes??
