I have had mixed thoughts on the staff. Their ability to find items is...sometimes painful. In fairness they really do try a lot. Often times I ask up front and get the 'go to the back of the store'. I don't mind walking there but often times "back of store or back shelf" leaves me to rely on staff in the area with the usual 'ah...let's see if we can find it." It's happened more than once and can be...frustrating. I would rather have 'go to the back of store and if you want me to help you find it, let me know." That extra option saves a lot of time. If the staff knew the inventory better, that wouldn't be an issue. I'm sure with time they will.
I wasn't going to write a review, but, I like the owner. He's VERY nice. He cares and is a pleasure to deal with. He goes the extra kilometer.
I Came in to buy a safe and there was an issue with it from the factory not the retailers fault. I drove two hours (4 hours round trip) and was irritated so they offered me gas money which was surprising. I wanted a safe, not gas money, and they sold me another model, bigger and better, at a very good price. The owner acted like he cared. We discussed options and found one that in all honesty was probably more in my favor than theirs. The staff had empathy for my travel woes which is rare today. Management acknowledged the situation and worked towards a solution. They made a bad situation good. Beyond my experience its a pretty cool little store they have kayaks, guns, safes, alot more than hardware. If you're in the market for a safe shop stores like this. Their products are better built (thicker metal and heavier) than the big box stores, made in America, and cost about the same.
Service was excellent and merchandise is priced much better than other similar stores in Rolla. We stopped in last week to just look around, and I ended up buying some needed supplies since the prices were so good. I will definitely buy my horse and goat supplies here. We went here today to look for a pump. The sales staff promptly greeted us and brought the available selections to us. I had already researched prices and Dickey Bubs were very reasonable. Overall, the staff is VERY helpful and courteous, prices are very reasonable, and I will return.

Well stocked very clean store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. From socks, tools to firearms a bit for all. Nice selection of firearms to decide from with a great selection of ammunition on hand. Firearms staff was very helpful and answered all questions. Store is a great asset to the Rolla area.
